Robson Resort Communities Gives Back

'Tis the season to give back, and that's just what residents at various Robson Resort Communities are doing this holiday season! Although there are endless philanthropic organizations within our communities, below are a few highlighted groups giving back this year!

The Holiday Homes Tour, sponsored by SaddleBrooke Community Outreach, is sure to put you in the mood for the holidays. Not only will participants tour five beautifully decorated homes but they will have an opportunity to shop for unique gifts at the holiday boutique and have a chance to win a fully decorated, full-size Christmas tree. The tree will have three extra special bonuses—ornaments personally made by students in the San Manuel School District, ornaments donated by the SBCO board members, and a design by a professional designer. All proceeds from the Holiday Homes Tour go directly to SBCO programs that serve needy children in the communities surrounding SaddleBrooke.

The residents of Robson Ranch Arizona got together one afternoon in November for a stocking stuffing party. Laura Aar handmade hundreds of scarves, which were included in the stockings along with non-perishable items, toiletries, socks and other items. The stockings were then packaged and mailed to the troops with "thank you" notes.

GivingForward is a group within the PebbleCreek community dedicated to promoting, facilitating, and supporting volunteerism among residents. It is a resource for those who may wish to offer their time, talent, and energy in the service of others locally and around the world. One of the groups that PebbleCreek residents volunteer for is the Stable Influence Charity Program. The mission of Stable Influence to provide excellence in therapeutic horseback riding education for both youths and adults who are mentally, emotionally, and physically challenged. At Stable Influence, it is all about the riders and about making a difference in their lives.

The residents of Quail Creek recently participated in a Harvest T.G.I.F. charity event to help provide Thanksgiving dinners to local families in need. At a Friday night dinner event at Quail Creek, residents donated traditional Thanksgiving dinner items and grocery store gift cards to the Green Valley Community Food Band. Donations included canned yams, stuffing mixes, pie filling, gravy mixes, etc. For every item donated, residents received one raffle ticket for a chance to win a variety of great prizes. The evening was a success with a total of $1,050 and 322 pounds of food being received.

The Women's Club at Robson Ranch Texas has joined with the Single's Club in planning a Holiday Tour of Homes. This year a couple new activities will be incorporated: a holiday food drive to benefit the Denton Food Center and a pet food drive for the Senior Paws organization. Proceeds from the tickets sales will be donated to the Friends of the Family and Our Daily Bread charities.

Robson Communities Inc. also gives back each and every holiday season by donating money, supplies, clothing and misc. items to benefit a wide range of local charities, youth groups, school, and non-profit organizations such as: Boys & Girls Club of Phoenix, UMOM, Habitat for Humanity.

As we reflect upon the past and look forward to the future, we are thankful for the residents, employees, trade partners, and others who continue to support our efforts throughout the year.
